Cast-iron scrap from cotton-gin rollers and glass-furnace components trades at PKR 60–75/kg, while copper from power-plant switchgear and transformer scrap averages PKR 1,800–2,080/kg. Lead-acid battery scrap from the extensive fleet of goods vehicles transiting through Multan is another actively traded commodity at PKR 180–220/kg.

Sellers holding fertiliser-plant or power-station scrap should obtain a material-composition certificate, as documented alloy content significantly improves the offered price. The Hussain Agahi and Mumtazabad industrial zones are Multan's primary scrap-dealing centres, with experienced traders handling both domestic consumption and shipments to Lahore's larger recyclers.
